Alert! The Food Pantry is open on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 - noon.  Clients need to show proof of residence by providing a piece of mail with their name and address.  They will receive a food box containing approximately 30 pounds of non-perishable food, a bag containing flour, sugar and other misc. items, a toiletry bag and some type of frozen meat.  (Larger families will receive additional food.)  Clients may request help once every 4 weeks.  During the summer months the Pantry also gives out fresh produce which is grown at The Treasure Island Demonstration Garden.  Clients may take produce any Tuesday or Thursday morning as needed.  The Food Pantry also hosts the Weld Mobile Food Truck on the 1st Wednesday of every month and that is located at 1020 Walnut Street.  Food distribution begins at 10:00 a.m.
