Location Overview
As a 501(3)(c) organization we, the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul (SVDP), Saint Bartholomew Conference, operate a large food Pantry serving those in need within our surrounding community in south Fort Worth. We also provide limited financial assistance (rent, utilities, etc.), when funds are available, to those in need within the four zip codes surrounding our Parish (76123, 76132, 76133 & 76134) through our Home Visit ministry.
Each needy family or single person is able to come to the Pantry once, each 30-day period and eligible neighbors can receive financial assistance once in a 12-month period. Our Pantry is part of the Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB) network and most of the food we distribute is purchased from TAFB. We do receive food donations from two retail food stores in our vicinity of south Fort Worth.
The operating funds we use for food purchase and to provide financial support primarily come from donations from parishioners of Saint Bartholomew’s Catholic Church.
