Location Overview

2025, SHCFP celebrates 20 years as an all volunteer 501c3 organization dedicated to feeding the hungry of Hall County in body and spirit. It accomplishes its mission by maintaining and distributing approx. 3-4 days of nutritious food and personal hygiene items etc. to feed families in Hall County. Families are eligible to access services once per month. SHCFP  transitioned to a Client Choice distribution model in 2024. 

Saturday, June 7, 2025, SHCFP officially opened its doors to serve at its new location: 3285 Poplar Springs Rd., Gainesville. It is locate on the grounds of Redwine Methodist Church between South Hall Middle School and Johnson High School.

SHCFP has recently changed to a Family Choice distribution. Family shopper can choose food products from available in-house food items based on quantities established to best support the number of family members. Family Choice encourages families to choose healthier food alternatives.
