Samaritan House offers two food distributions:

TEFAP Commodities & Food Supplement Distribution  

Commodities require registration and The Food Supplement Distribution does not require registration. 

Emergency Food bags are also available during office hours. 


Program Qualifications
Applications for The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)/Commodities must be filled out in person in the office or during the food distribution.  No other documents needed.

Program Overview

The Samaritan House Shelter is an emergency overnight shelter, and is now open for Day Center only/Summer hours, on a first come first serve basis. 

Day Center is open year round for food, shower, laundry, and other support services available on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, at 8:30pm-11:00am, dates and times may vary.

The voucher program is designed for those in need of clothing, and some household items like dishes, towels, blankets, etc.  In person registration is required at the main office during regular hours of operation.

To apply for a Thrift Store voucher please stop by our office and fill out an application.  ID may be asked for, but is not required, no other documentation needed.
