The River Valley Food 4 Kids Pantry Program provides supplemental groceries to families with children from Labor Day through Memorial Day.

Each household receives a set menu that includes protein, carbs, and produce for balanced family meals. Every child also gets a bag full of snacks and goodies, and families can select a few items from our walk-in pantry to meet their unique needs.

The Pantry is by appointment only, open Tuesday–Thursday from 9 AM–1 PM and 2 PM–5 PM. Families may visit once every two weeks.

New participants must provide kids’ IDs and proof of income eligibility during registration.

By offering nutritious, family-focused food and a dignified shopping experience, the Pantry Program helps local kids and their families stay nourished and supported throughout the school year.

Program Qualifications

Eligible Ages & Residence: Schoolchildren ages 3–18 years living in the Arkansas River Valley (Pope, Yell, Johnson, Logan, Conway, and Perry counties).

Income Guidelines: We follow the same income eligibility guidelines as SNAP/EBT. However, you do not have to be enrolled in SNAP to participate in our programs.

Registration: Each household is required to register for the program each year. If you are registered for the Pantry Program, you will need to register for the Summer Program separately. Registration does not carry over from year to year.

Required Documentation Child ID: One form of identification per child (e.g., Social Security card, ARKids Card, birth certificate, school ID, or proof of residency).  Parent/Guardian ID: Photo identification (e.g., driver's license).
