Program Qualifications
Recipients of prepared meals at congregate meal sites are considered to be needy and are automatically eligible to receive prepared meals from the congregate meal site. There is no formal eligibility requirement to receive a meal from a congregate meal site. An individual only needs to go to the site and say that they are in need.

Provides direct assistance biweekly via DES: also has paper documents and makes computer lab available to those who want to apply; has SNAP grant through DES, and has been trying to line up training through Wildfire

Works with DES to provide SNAP assistance : Thursday 9a-4p bi-weekly. Also makes computer lab available to those who want to apply online.

Nutrition Assistance (SNAP) provides eligible households with monthly benefits they can use to purchase nutritious food. By helping families fight food insecurity and meet one of their fundamental needs, they can focus on overcoming barriers to self-sufficiency.
