The Central Delta Community Action Agency (CDCAA) food pantry purpose is to fight food insecurity and support low-income individuals, families, the elderly, and people with disabilities in Cleveland county. It serves as an emergency service, offering food assistance, nutrition support, and resources to promote self-sufficiency.
Emergency Food Assistance: The pantry helps individuals and families facing hunger, often providing essential nourishment during times of hardship.
Support for Vulnerable Populations: The service targets seniors, children, and people with disabilities in Eastern Central Arkansas to reduce hunger.
Self-Sufficiency Goal: As part of a larger community action agency, the pantry’s purpose is not just to provide food, but to assist clients in moving toward self-sufficiency through comprehensive supportive service
Eligibility Requirements:
Food assistance is available to individuals and families who meet income guidelines and reside in Cleveland County. Income must be below 150% of the FPL.
If resident from another county inquires about food, they will be referred to food pantries in their area.
Proof of ID and residency is required.
Assistance is provided regardless of race, religion, gender, or background.
Once a month distribution per household.
Emergency distribution may be available on a case-by-case basis.
Larger food distributions will be announce on social media platform 1-2 days prior.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS: To qualify for LIHEAP benefits through CDCAA you must be a resident of Arkansas, Cleveland, Grant, Jefferson, or Lincoln County and you must meet specific income eligibility requirements.
You must include the following with your application: Proof of Applicant Identity:
A valid driver’s license or other government issued ID; health insurance card or employment ID, or birth certificate.
Social Security number and card, or other approved document (SSN must be verified for all household members aged 18 or older)
Proof of ALL Household Income: for the 4 weeks prior to application or a completed Zero Income form if no income, Contribution Form and Unemployment.
Copies of most recent heating and cooling bills.
Copy of lease agreement is required: if you live in subsidized housing; or if your utilities are included in your rent.
