Senior Safety Net ensures that these greatly appreciated and respected members of society are being treated as such. Second Harvest understands that some seniors may face challenges regarding transit and mobility, so it’s our mission to provide flexible and convenient access. When seniors are food-insecure, they face a greater risk of experiencing or exacerbating health problems. Second Harvest seeks to mitigate these long-term risks by providing not only food, but the correct food for a healthy senior’s diet.
