The Oakwood Area Food Pantry is located on the block between the Oakwood Post Office and Oakwood Grade School.

The Oakwood Area Food Pantry exists as a Christian, faith-based, 501(c)3 organization to meet material needs in the greater Oakwood area and to mobilize the public to address basic human needs.

Currently servicing neighbors in need that reside in: Oakwood, Fithian, Muncie, Catlin, Fairmount, Sidell and Indianola.

Instructions for Food Pantry

-Visitors pull up in front of the food pantry and park.

-A volunteer will come to your vehicle to register you. Proof of residence is required.

-The volunteer will then deliver the groceries directly to your vehicle

Program Overview

-Weekly onsite food distributions on Tuesdays 10am-noon

-Friday delivery to the Oakwood and Catlin school districts for students identified to participate in the Bags of Hope weekend food program.
