Location Overview

The Hammond Food Pantry is one of The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) locations in New York's St. Lawrence Co., serving residents from the local communities of Brier Hill, Hammond, Morristown, Rossie, and Macomb. Client choice food distribution occurs once a month within the Hammond Fire Hall on 300 Lake St. The food pantry entrance is the rear door of the Fire Hall.  Cars line up in right side driveway of Fire Hall and wrap around back to enter rear door.  Clients are assisted with a shopping-like experience that uses a point system, and also receive assistance loading their vehicles.

If necessary, an emergency food service appointment can be arranged outside of the normal hours by contacting Diane Ayotte at 315-775-3557.

Program Overview
The Hammond Food Pantry is an emergency food pantry that seeks to provide 15 balanced meals per client family member per month. HFP uses a MyPlate point system and a Client Choice shopping-like experience, with servings from each of the major food groups.

Program Qualifications
Must meet The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) requirements for family size and income level (see action links for more information).
