Program Overview
God's Pantry is a partner agency of the NW Arkansas Food Bank serving Garfield, Gateway, Avoca, Pea Ridge and Missouri border communities.

Program Qualifications

Neighbors can visit this program weekly for regular groceries. A photo ID is required for first-time visitors.   If a photo ID is not available, proof of address is required, such as a utility bill, rental agreement or other means of verifying residency in our service area.

 

Online orders can also be placed for pick-up during pantry hours. You can place an online order here.

 

For TEFAP-qualifying individuals - you must be a resident of Benton County, meet income qualifications, and present a photo ID when receiving this commodity program. TEFAP commodities are available once monthly.

Program Overview

God's Pantry Thrift Store is open to the public every Thursday and Saturday from 11am-3pm.

 

Funds from thrift store sales are used to fund organization operating expenses and food purchases.

 

The thrift store is able to assist neighbors with emergency clothing, bedding, and household items in the event of a house fire or storm damage.   In addition, various medical devices are offered free of charge when available, such as canes, crutches, walkers, bathroom aids, etc.      Children's clothing can be provided free of charge if a caretaker or family member must unexpectedly care for a child in need, or to help a new mother.

Registered neighbors can receive soap products once per calendar quarter.     Distribution is in January, April, July and October of each year.

 

Soap products like dish soap, bar soap, laundry detergent and shampoo are distributed with weekly food (Thursdays).

Angel Gift Program

God's Pantry has partnered with the social group "Hobbits" to administer this years program.   For more information, contact us at godspantrygarfield@gmail.com.

Program Overview

Christmas gifts for registered families -children up to age 12.

 

Registration begins in early October each year.    Request an application from the front check-in and return gift requests by the deadline.

 

Gifts will be distributed on two consecutive Thursdays in December, in time for Christmas.  Gifts will be unwrapped.   Wrapping materials will be available while supplies last.
