Program Overview
The Ecumenical Food Pantry of Blairsville primarily serves the people of Union and Towns counties. We offer our clients the opportunity to choose their own groceries with the assistance of a volunteer.
As clients come to the pantry they will sign-in. If a volunteer is not available immediately after signing in there is a waiting area with tables and chairs. When a volunteer is available they will take them around the grocery shelves to select foods they need and like. After shopping clients are assisted to their cars where volunteers unload their groceries.
For clients who are unable to shop for their groceries, we have pre-made boxes ready to go.
