Location Overview
Established in 1998 as a ministry of our church, the Coudersport Alliance Church Food Pantry is dedicated to serving individuals and families in need by providing essential food assistance and spiritual support. Over the years, we have been a beacon of hope in our community, distributing thousands of meals while offering prayer and encouragement to those facing hardship. Our mission extends beyond nourishment—we strive to uplift, empower, and bring comfort to every person who walks through our doors. With continued support, we aim to expand our reach, ensuring that no family in our community goes hungry.
Behind every box of food and every warm greeting is a team of faithful volunteers and caring staff who make the Coudersport Alliance Church Food Pantry possible. United by compassion and a calling to serve, our team gives their time and energy to ensure every neighbor is met with kindness, respect, and a sense of belonging.
From stocking shelves to packing boxes, offering a prayer, or lending a listening ear, each person plays a vital role in keeping our pantry running smoothly. We are a church-led ministry, but our work is made possible through the strength of our entire community—those who give, serve, and walk alongside us.
As the need continues to grow, so does our commitment to showing God’s love in practical ways—offering more than food, but also dignity, connection, and hope.“If you offer your food to the hungry and satisfy the needs of the afflicted, then your light shall rise in the darkness…” —Isaiah 58:10 (NRSV)

Recipients of food for home consumption must meet statewide income eligibility guidelines. State agencies set these guidelines which may allow recipients to be income eligible for TEFAP via participation in other existing food, health, or social service programs for which eligibility is based on income.
Recipients of prepared meals are presumed to have low income and are not subject to a means test.
TEFAP recipients may be eligible for a number of other FNS nutrition assistance programs.
TEFAP regulations do not require that applicant households provide verification of income eligibility such as pay stubs. A State agency may choose whether to require verification of income eligibility and determine the process by which TEFAP applicants’ income eligibility information is verified. All ERAs in the State/Territory must use the verification process established by the State agency and cannot use an alternate process. Self-attestation of income (including self-attestation of adjunctive income eligibility) is an allowable practice.
Eligibility criteria for home consumption must include a requirement that the household reside in the geographic location served by the State agency at the time of applying for assistance, and a method for how residency will be determined (7 CFR 251.5(b)(3))
