Program Qualifications
Everyone who needs food can come. Go to www.Conyerschurch.org, click Ministries, and click Hope Food Pantry to register and get a pantry card to be scanned when you get food. Register only ONCE, and please list the names and dates of birth of everyone in the household. We are required to keep an accurate count of the number of people we serve.

Program Overview

Georgia Nutrition Assistance Program (GNAP).  Our Agency is a partner of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, which has a contract with the  Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) to receive funds used for purchasing food for the GNAP program. To support this program, we are required to make sure program participants meet certain eligibility requirements and to keep an accurate count of the number of people served.  We are required to have the GNAP eligibility form completed to receive the funds from DHS.

To qualify for this program, the following must be true.

Child Under the Age of 18 in school full time (plus ONE of the following)

*Receives TANF

*Receives SSI, Medicaid OR SNAPS/Food Stamps.

*Self-Declared Income is Below Household Size Threshold. (at least 200% below FPL)


Program Qualifications

Only households with minor children aged 17 years and under living in the home and attending school full-time can receive GNAP. Families are currently enrolled in TANF and TANF Transitional services. Families defined as AT RISK who are currently enrolled in SNAP/Food Stamps, current recipients of SSI, current recipients of Medicaid, or family income falls below 200% of the Federal Poverty Line (FPL)

Only one box of GNAP FOOD  per qualified household.

Program Overview
For participating seniors, CSFP offers more than just food and nourishment. It also helps combat the poor health conditions often found in seniors who experience food insecurity. CSFP food packages are specifically designed to supplement nutrients typically lacking in participants’ diets. These healthy foods help seniors avoid costly hospitalizations and nursing home placements.
