Program Overview

Central Storehouse is a free food market that serves anyone in need with healthy groceries they get to self-choose from the shelves, freezers, and refrigerators. We invite people into our building, do a basic intake, invite them to connect with volunteers to chat, and shop through our market for healthy food for their family.

The mission of Central Storehouse is Loving Neighbors, Feeding Souls. We exist to love and lead neighbors to find health and hope for meaningful life change. We want our neighbors to have a dignified experience where they feel seen and heard as they face some of life's greatest challenges. Many of our neighbors have decided to join us as volunteers because of the depth of relationships that are formed.

Our Storehouse students program works with 7 local schools to provide food insecure students with weekend food bags with nutritious snacks and meals they might not ordinarily have access to. We also invite their families to come and experience all Central Storehouse has to offer.

On the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, an organization called Cloud Covered Streets brings their trailer out to offer showers, laundry service, clothing, and breakfast to any of our unhoused neighbors.

Program Qualifications
We are a no-barrier food pantry. If you need food, come and see us. We try to maintain an appointment system which will help us maintain a healthy flow of neighbors visiting the market. We will be asking for neighbors to provide a utility bill and ID in the future so that we can serve the greatest number of households possible.
